We desperately needed a break. We have rested and found ourselves again. 

Everything was immaculate - clean, neat & beautifully curated. I loved the tiny details - from my place setting for dinner on arrival to plush towels, crisp linen, and a cozy fireplace (stocked with wood), my stay was nothing short of blissful.

La Maison has a modern yet quaint charm, offering all the comforts of home, and more (kitchen & pantry has everything you need - even for baking). What I loved most is the local artwork - I found myself walking from room to room as if in a gallery (FYI all the artwork is for sale!)

It's also very conveniently located on the main road - with a small shopping center (Spar, Woolies, Clicks, and Schoon bakery) and an array of restaurants and wine farms to choose from close by.

Although situated on the Main road, the house is set a bit further back on the property - the bedrooms are at the back of the house - which means you don't really hear too much of the main road and nights are pretty peaceful.

Overall, I had a wonderful stay at La Maison - Loretta was a wonderful host and really made me feel at home. I will definitely be returning!

Perfect location set back from the Main Road which is nice. Close to very nice restaurants. We had two meals at Backs Restaurant which is 5 minutes drive from the property. The food was amazing. They pair their dishes with amazing wine. 

Quality furnishings, comfortable, and very clean. We loved everything about Lorretta's house - we will book it again.
