Reservations and arrival
Q: How do I book my stay at La Maison On Main?
A: Either directly with us on www.lmom.co.za or via a booking site like Airbnb / Booking.com / Lekkerslaap etc.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: Reservations are only considered canceled if received in writing and confirmed by the Owners in writing.
Reservations canceled less than 7 days before arrival carry a 100% cancellation fee on the total booking value.
In the event of premature departure, the full extent of the stay, as originally booked and confirmed, will be charged. If a “no show” occurs, a 100% cancellation fee will apply, and no refund will be given.
Q: What are the check-in and check-out times?
A: Check-in time at 14h00 / Check-out time 10h00 (taking note that special arrangements can be made directly with the Owners if we have no other bookings on that specific date)
Q: How do we get the keys for the villa?
A: Lockbox code will be supplied on the day of Check-in at 13h00 / Alternatively, the Owners will do a check-in with you at 14h00 to answer any questions you might have.
Q: Can we arrange airport pickup?
A: Yes, at an additional fee (email us at info@lmom.co.za, and we can get more details to quote you accordingly).
About the villa and facilities
Q: Is La Maison On Main suitable for children?
A: Children are welcome at La Maison On Main. Depending on the kids' ages, the owners will assist with camping cot, feeding chair, pool toys, etc.
Q: What is included in the self-catering kitchen?
A: The fridge comes stocked with still & sparkling water and milk to get your coffee station going. As the listing is fully self-catering, we leave the shopping to our guests.
Q: Are linens and towels provided?
A: Bed linen and a selection of bathroom towels are provided. You will also find pool towels in the bathroom.
Q: Do you offer Wi-Fi, and is there a Smart TV?
A: Yes, the property has Wi-Fi and a Smart TV in the lounge.
Q: Is there backup power in case of loadshedding?
A: Yes, we have you covered with loadshedding at the property on essentials like plugs and lights.
Q: Is there secure parking available at the property?
A: Yes, you have 2 parking spots off the Main Road in front of the Villa to offload. And once you are settled in, you can move your rental to the back courtyard for secure parking at night.
Q: Can I add another person to the reservation at a later stage?
A: Yes, we can take up to 6 people in the Villa, and you will be charged R2000 for any additional guest that was not part of the initial booking.

Q: Do you allow pets at La Maison On Main?

Q: Is a cleaning service included during our stay?
A: This can be arranged in advance at an additional fee of R450 per shift (normally between 09h00 and 12h00).

Exploring Paarl and the Winelands
Q: Is the villa within walking distance of shops and restaurants?
A: We are within walking distance of Woolworths & Spar for groceries / Restaurants like Noop, Zuus (Greek), Kapstadt Brauhaus, and Grande Roche / Roodeberg Pharmacy etc.
Q: Can you help arrange local tours or wine tastings?
A: The villa has brochures on activities as well as Wine Farm coffee table books, both for Paarl & Franschhoek, so you will have plenty to choose from.
Q: What are some must-see attractions near La Maison On Main?
A: Depending on your fitness level, I would highly recommend Paarl Trails network, which offers over 200km of mixed-use paths for mountain biking / take a hike up Paarl Rock / visit Babel at Babylonstoren for the foodies (this is a full day trip on its own) / Franschhoek Wine Tram for the wine lovers / Ashia Cheetah Center / Fairview Wine & Cheese Farm. Q: What is the best way to get around the Winelands?
A: I would personally hire an SUV, as you then have more options on where you can go with the luxury of space and air conditioning.
